Orange County Food Drive Thursday 5/9/2013
RED Day (Renew, Energize and Donate) is an initiative dedicated to celebrating Keller Williams Realty’s year-round commitment to improving our local communities. Each year, on the second Thursday in May, tens of thousands of associates from across the United States and Canada participate in a wide range of projects, devoting our time to renewing and energizing aspects of the neighborhoods in which we serve.
This year, your local agents from Keller William’s Mission Viejo are asking for your support in our RED Day food drive! This food drive, sponsored by Second Harvest Food Bank, is geared towards helping the whopping 400,000 people within Orange County who are at risk of hunger.
How to Get Involved: Getting involved is simple! Leading up to RED Day on May 9th, your local agent will be collecting non-perishable items within their communities, you can donate online to the link at the bottom of the page or visit one of the local stores listed below. Most needed items include:
Non-perishable canned goods or dry food:
- Canned meats, fish, soup, fruits, vegetables
- Pasta, hot & cold cereal
- Macaroni & Cheese
- Peanut butter
Personal care items:
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes
- Toilet tissue
* Please no glass containers or expired items.
We will also be outside of local super markets in Mission Viejo on May 9th from 10am-2pm
Albertsons on Crown Valley/ Pavilions on Crown Valley/ Pavilions on Marguerite/ Trader Joes on Marguerite ( I will be here at 10 AM)
and make a difference today.
